Semi Rolls Over Near Hibbing; Manifest Contains Highly Explosive Chemical

Our news partners with the Northland’s Newscenter are reporting:

A semi truck containing 45,000 pounds of Aluminum Nitrate has rolled over near Hibbing Taconite on Highway 5.  At this point, none of the chemical manifest is leaking;  Officials are reporting the only leak to be hydraulic fluid.

Officials have redirected plans for a wide-spread evacuation, due to the current state of containment.

More updates are expected to follow.
