Project Joy is an event organized by a local family in memory of a loved one that helps to fund the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank's Backpack Program.  It's a program that ensures some Northland students have food over the weekend.  While shooting this video I was moved to tears with what I saw and thinking of these kids who have come to rely on this food donation to last their weekend.

While I was at the Project Joy event (that raised just over $19,000 this year) my heart was touched by a story of a little girl that had left her backpack in the school on a Friday afternoon and frantically told the bus driver she needed to go back to get it.  After you watch the video and hear Shaye Moris, Executive Director of Second Harvest, explain more about the national Backpack Program you'll be inclined to get yourself or your business involved. (thank you for your support!)
