The Rolling Stones paid tribute to Bobby Womack during their headline appearance on June 28 in Werchter, Belgium at EW Festival over the weekend according to an article in Examiner.com.

The legendary British rockers played a 19-song setlist, which included a performance of the Womack's It's All Over Now. The song became The Stones' first U.K. No 1 single and helped launch their career. I've included an original video of the Stones as well as the tribute version.

The Stones released the following statement.  "He was a true pioneer of soul and R&B, whose voice and songwriting touched millions. On stage, his presence was formidable. His talents put him up there with the greats. We will remember him, first and foremost, as a friend."
