A Walk For Animals is coming in June, but you can register now for the walk and the 5k virtual and regular fun run. Meet Arnold a rescued stray.

Here is what Daryl at Animal Allies had to say:

Arnold is a black American Shelter Dog who is six years old. He came to us as a stray from Duluth and is now looking for his new loving home! Arnold is a sweet, calm boy who already knows the commands for sit and shake. He'd love for you to come play tug with him, and he adores rope toys. He will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated by the time of adoption. If you are interested in adoption, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give us a call at 218-722-5341 for more information!

The Walk for Animals is a 2-mile Walk

The Walk starts out in beautiful Bayfront Festival Park, taking walkers around the lakewalk down into the heart of Canal Park and back to Bayfront again. This is the 26th year of fundraising, walking and having fun supporting homeless pets.

This 5K race is timed and runners will receive special race bibs! The route begins in Bayfront Festival Park and continues down the lakewalk to a designated turnaround spot where runners will turn tail and head back to Bayfront to cross the finish line.

If you can't attend June 2nd and still want to participate and get the race packet? Then the Virtual Furry 5K Fun Run is for you!

Register for our virtual 5K and your race packet will be mailed out on a designated date before the event. Virtual attendees will still receive all of the fun incentives included with our day-of 5K. You can share your pictures and still be part of the event.
