I've seen so many r&r bands in my lifetime, I can't remember all their names, but the one that stands out the most is ZZ Top. Their sound is impeccable, totally in sync with their audience, and the word cool doesn't come close to doing them justice.

ZZ Top was no stranger to popularity by any stretch, but Eliminator made their stardom even more predictable  With Eliminator, they achieved their greatest group of singles since the days of Tres Hombres. "Gimme All Your Lovin," Sharp Dressed Man," and "Legs" powered the album, however the other songs on the album are good as well. Eliminator placed #396 in Rolling Stones Top 500 Albums Of All Time, and sold over 10 million albums in America alone. Personally, I would place this album in their top three. ZZ Top never sounded as much like a band of it's time as they did on Eliminator. Check out my previous posts on ZZ Top. TV Dinners and I Got To Get Paid.
