One of the things the City of Duluth is talking about is putting a new fire station in the Woodland area to replace the station currently on College Ave. at UMD. The city wants to address all the concerns of the area.

The public is invited to attend a meeting on Tuesday, March 5th at the Woodland School Media Room beginning at 5:30 PM to discuss the proposed construction of a new fire station that will replace the current Woodland and UMD station. The station consolidations are part of the Fire Department’s study’s recommendations. The purpose of the meeting is to lay out the proposal and get public input into the plan.
