People have been discussing having a dog park in Duluth, I've heard the arguments for and against, but where to put it. The City of Duluth Planning Division and the Parks and Recreation Division invites the public to attend a public meeting on the future use of city owned land at 41st Avenue E. and Jay Street.

This site was in previous years by the city as a water and gas maintenance facility . Presently the site is vacant and the city is asking the public for their input on future use of the property. The second part of the meeting will be to hear comments from the public about a proposed dog park at Russell Square Park which is located at 42nd Avenue East and Pitt Street.

The public meeting will take place on Thursday, March 20 at 6:30 pm in the lower level of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd located at 1325 North 45 th Avenue East. Those residents that have concerns, questions, or comments are invited to attend.
