The Public is invited to attend December 4th, 5 to 8 pm in the Great Hall at the Depot.

The theme for this year’s event is The Evolution of Armor in the United States Army. The keynote speaker is Brig. General (Bvt) Ronald L. Hein (Ret) who will speak about the development of tanks in the United States Army from World War I to the present.  World War II was the turning point in understanding the value of the tank on the battlefield.  Hein was commissioned as an Armor Officer and served in all levels of command from tank platoon to an Infantry Brigade.  He served for thirty-seven years in the Minnesota Army National Guard.

Tickets are still available for $35.00 and may be purchased at the office of Veterans Memorial Hall at the St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center (the Depot), or be reserved by calling 218-733-7586. Proceeds from the event will help support the Veterans Memorial Hall Program of the St. Louis County Historical Society.

This year there will be a Silent Auction with donations from local businesses.

This community-based event is sponsored by many leading local businesses. Arrowhead Professional Chefs Association will prepare the plated dinner and donate their services.
