Though 'Brave' was a welcome respite, Pixar has gone sequel crazy, as their previous  two films were sequels and this summer we're getting a prequel in 'Monsters University.' But the studio is also working on three non-sequels for the future, and have released images from each of them.

These stills come courtesy of Coming Soon, who got a Pixar gift card for the end of the year. The studio offered them a look at their next three original projects, though no glimpse at the in-development 'Finding Nemo 2' (yeah, that's happening).

First up is 'The Good Dinosaur' which is scheduled to hit theaters May 30, 2014:

The premise of the film is that it takes place in a world where dinosaurs weren't wiped out and live alongside humans. This image suggests that it's about a boy and his pet dinosaur, and we're on board with that.

Next up is an image from Pete Docter's film 'Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside the Mind.'

This one is scheduled for June 19, 2015, and it sounds like the end segment from Woody Allen's 'Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* (*But Were Afraid to Ask),' but -- you know -- for kids.

And finally there's an image for ' The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dia de los Muertos' which is scheduled to hit the big screens in 2016:

This isn't much to go on, but the studio seems to have taken some licks, and we're looking forward to where they go in the future. Even if they haven't been hitting consistent home runs, they're still one of the best animation studios ever.
