Here on Kool 101.7 we play songs by many bands from the United Kingdom, and now, Guinness World Records shows that Status Quo has more hit singles than any other band in the UK chart history. They have 61 charts hits from 1968 thru 2004. Queen comes in second with 52 hits, and The Rolling Stones and UB40 are tied with 51 hits each. Who woulda thunk huh? As I've always said, it's a crazy world of rock n roll.
