Phillips Looking For A Home, Walk For Animals Saturday

Help Phillips find a home and others. This Saturday is Walk For  Animals where you can see and interact with dogs and cats that need homes.

Daryl told me the Walk for Animals registration is closed, but not the invite for everyone to check out a pet like this weeks featured animal. Daryl says this:

Phillips is an orange tabby shorthair cat who is three years old. He came to us as a stray from Duluth and is now looking for a loving home. Phillips is a handsome boy with a calm personality. He can be a little shy at first, but given time he warms up quickly to be quite the friendly cat! He will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated by the time of adoption. Ok, so Daryl says you can't register anymore for the Walk for Animals, but you are welcome to walk, sit, or stay (get it?) at the Bayfront and enjoy the vendors and have fun with your pet, or check out the pets up for adoption. Join them this Saturday at 9 am.

9:30 AM - Be Kind to Animals Awards & Recognition - Main Stage

9:45 AM - Grand Marshal Recognition - Main Stage

10:00 AM - Furry 5K Start!

11:00 AM - Walk Start!

11:45 AM - Agility Demonstration featuring Nancy, Bonnie & Charmer

12:30 PM - Prize Drawings for $100+ and $300+ Fundraisers (must be present to win) - Main Stage

1:00-2:00 PM - Contests: Cutest Puppy (puppies must be under 1 year of age), Pet/Person Look-a-Like Contest and Pet Costume Contest. Followed by Silly Pet Contests: Best Howl, Best Wag, Best Trick - Main Stage

2:00 - Grand Marshal Portraits - Timeslot 2
