Phil Thompson Brings His Piano In Studio, Tells Us Why He Keeps A Trumpet In His Mouth

Phil Thompson grew up in Minnesota and knows the talent that is here. 6 years ago he started a collection cd called Holiday Lights. Sort of a soundtrack for the light display at the Capital. Mostly a showcase for Minnesota music, and has boasted some big artists.

Phil came in to the studio to play and sing. We talked about music in Minnesota which continues to be passed over when music states come up in a discussion. Minnesota has given the world Bob Dylan, Prince, and the Replacements, not to mention Bob Mould and others. So, Phil came up with a way to share Minnesota music and raise some money for Charity.
