Vince Young signed a one-year deal with the Green Bay Packers, this is for two reasons. Vince had a great workout and can add a different work out to the defense, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson. Young, turns 30, and has already played with a couple of teams, Buffalo Tennessee and Philadelphia. Some are saying this might be a move just to have a good workout for the team. Some are comparing him to Tim Tebow, saying he isn't a good defensive reader and can't learn plays, but when given a chance he can win.

Young will compete for the No. 2 spot with Graham Harrell who has failed to impress the brass. According to ESPN, The Packers also are intrigued with Young's mobility and believe he can help prepare them for the opening two games of the regular season, in which Green Bay's defense plays against San Francisco's Colin Kaepernick and Washington's Robert Griffin III.

There are rumours the Packers may let him go after the pre season.
