The on-going maintenance work on the Oliver Bridge continues - with crews from CN making progress as the summer continues.  In addition to the daytime closures already in place - the scope of the work will require a total closure in a few weeks.

According to the Minnesota Department of Transporation and CN, the bridge will close completely September 13-15 in order to allow crews the opportunity to replace spans on both the Wisconsin and Minnesota sides.  Signs for this closure are already in place - alerting daily users to the closure.

Meanwhile, progress continues.  Daytime closures are expected to end towards the end of October.  However, drivers can anticipate some additional delays and closures in the early months of winter.
