This Sunday the temperatures should be agreeable enough to have great conditions for a Nordic Ski Race. There will be 3 races utilizing some different courses. This is a classic-only ski race with distances of 13k, 25k and 38k and also a kids' race. The race courses cover the Spirit Mountain and Magney-Snively trails, with breathtaking views of Lake Superior and St. Louis Bay.

The 13k and 25k Classic courses will start off using the challenging 11k loop on the Spirit Mt. trail system. The two races will divide at the infamous "Connector" where the 25k skiers will venture onto the Magney-Snively ski trail system while the 13k skiers continue on the Spirit Mountain trails to the finish. After circling the full Magney-Snively ski trail loop, the 25k skiers will take the "Spirit-Magney Connector" back to the Spirit trails and continue to the finish.  The 38k race is Starting and Finishing on the Campground Loop of Spirit Mountain, the Skate courses.

Registration is required and can be done in advance or on the day of the race. Registration and packet pick-up begins at 7:30am on race day, and the first races begin at 10:30am.
