The first thing that you notice when you walk in the doors of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is this is not an ordinary hospital. This is all for kids, the walls are painted for kids, the rooms, and even how the kids are transported to their appointments.

When I visited last year I was able to get a picture of one of the little red wagons that transports the kids to appointments or to lunch. Wheelchairs are scary to kids. The wagon makes kids smile and it's just plain fun to ride in. This is another way that St. Jude makes it fun for the kids. They are there for very serious treatment, but you would never know it talking to them. The hospital takes care of the child, their brothers and sisters, and their parents.
