Bad news for Fleetwood Mac fans - band leader Mick Fleetwood says that the group may never tour again.

I don't believe Fleetwood Mac will ever tour again, but I really hope we do," Fleetwood told Playboy magazine. The group apparently "rehearsed and prepared" for a tour in 2010. When that didn't happen, they were "supposed" to play live in 2011. "But we delayed it for a year to allow Stevie to support her solo record and for Lindsey to do the same with his," Fleetwood said. Despite comments by Nicks last spring, the band still shows no sign of heading back on the road.

Mick Fleetwood blames Stevie Nicks for the bands impasse.

"I played drums on most of Stevie's album [2011's In Your Dreams], the one she is still out there supporting and the one that is the reason that, for now, she refuses to do a Fleetwood Mac tour," Fleetwood complained. "Stevie is really proud of [the record], and I get that, but she will not let it go … I've always been supportive of my bandmates doing solo albums so long as we kept our band [going]."

Nicks' problem, Fleetwood suggested, is her ego. "I understand what she likes about her situation. Touring in support of her album, she is able to be her, without any degree of compromise. She doesn't have to worry about the other three of us asking her to do anything."
