New Social Media Contest Announced for 2016 Hockey Day Minnesota in Duluth

During the flag raising ceremony at Bayfront Festival Park on Thursday, a new social media contest was announced that could get you in to the 2016 Hockey Day festivities for free, along with some other exciting things as well.

The contest asks fans to tweet their favorite Hockey Day memories from any of the previous nine Hockey Day Minnesota events with the hashtag #HDM2016. The contest is on now, and runs through December 18.

The grand prize winner will receive a two-night stay at the Inn on Lake Superior on the Friday and Saturday night of Hockey Day Minnesota, along with 4 tickets to the games at Bayfront Festival Park. The second place prize is a Fox Sports North Hockey Fan Pack, which includes two zip-up jackets, two hats, and two tickets to a Wild regular season home game; and the third place prize is a 2015-16 Wild player autographerd jersey.
