New Downtown Parking Ramp With Skywalk Access Opens Just In Time For Grandma’s Marathon

Looking for parking this weekend while you enjoy the festivities of Grandma's Marathon?  You have a new option!  Now that the Maurices building is finished, the ramp that is connected is also open and ready for your vehicle.

The ramp is located at 410 West First Street - and is conveniently in the middle of everything downtown.  The parking options are just a few blocks from the marathon course.  In addition, the ramp is connected to the Skywalk system for connectivity that includes "creature comforts".

The City of Duluth owns and operates this parking ramp and it has 481 spaces with entry points at West First Street or from the alley off of 5th Avenue West just above Superior Street.  The hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day, with extended hours to cover major events like Grandma's.  The hourly rate is $2 - or a flat fee of $3 on Saturday's, Sunday's, or for evening parkers who arrive after 4:00 PM and exit before 6:00 AM the next day.  Special event rates may pertain and those will be posted at the entrances.  All fees are payable with cash or a credit/debit card.
