Mother Nature Puts A Damper On Clean Sweep Event In Downtown Duluth; Cold And Snow Postpones Event That Was To Happen Wednesday April 6

The calendar may say "spring" - but Mother Nature knows differently;  Northlanders probably should, too.  The Clean Sweep event that was scheduled in downtown Duluth on Wednesday, April 6 has been temporarily postponed for a later date.

During the annual Clean Sweep event, the Greater Downtown Council invites business owners along Superior and Michigan Streets and those in Canal Park to clean up, spruce up, and get the exterior of their storefronts ready for the warmer weather.  At the same time, city crews perform street sweeping to put a fresh face on the business district.

The forecast for cold and snow has put a temporary hold on the event.  Stay tuned for a rescheduled date in the future.
