Last nights snowfall, combined with the strong winds and the remnants Mother Nature has left us the last few weeks have made for treacherous driving conditions today in the Twin Ports and the surrounding arrowhead region.

Minnesota Department of Transportation is urging drivers to use caution and to monitor changing conditions closely.  Gusty winds and blowing snow is causing fair to difficult driving conditions.

Over the remainder of the day, motorists can expect reduced visibility due to falling and blowing snow.  Highways are being plowed by crews but the blowing and continued snowfall is creating slippery conditions in some areas.
