If you've bought Evanger's Pet Food - here's a heads up:  The company is recalling some manufacture dates due to the possible contamination with a known euthenasia drug.  Both Minnesota and Wisconsin are included on the recall state list.

The product in question is Evanger's Hunk of Beef dog food - sold in a 12-ounce can - with manufacture dates between June 6-June 13, 2016.  The cans include the lot numbers 1816E03HB, 1816E04HB, 1816E06HB, 1816E07HB, and 1816E13HB, with an expiration date of June 2020. These cans are being recalled because they may contain pentobarbital - which can cause serious side-effects including death.

Anyone who has cans of the dog food included on the recall is asked to contact the company via their website or by calling 1-847-537-0102.
