When the Minnesota Vikings move into their new home, chances are no one will give a passing thought as to what used to be located in its place.  One of those buildings that is being demolished to make way for pro football is the Star Tribune's current office building.  Some of the current employees of the so-called "Strib" may be looking forward to moving into new digs, but the situation has created a problem for one staffer.

For the last 40 years, Jon Bream has been  the noted music critic for the newspaper.  One of the perks of the job is receiving dozens of new music releases each week from record labels, management companies, and promoters.  Bream collected these vinyl records over the years.  Today, that collection totals over 25,000 records.

Early on, he kept his collection at his house but as it grew larger he eventually moved it back to the office building.  Now he's faced with having to do something with the collection in order to facilitate the Star Tribune's move.  The records will not make the move to the new building.

As a record collector and music fan all I can do is sigh and wish I had more room.....
