Duluth deems itself the "Christmas City of the North" and as such - the downtown area is usually festively-decorated each December.  One of the focal-points of the downtown decorations is the outdoor plaza at Minnesota Power's corporate headquarters - right at the corner of Lake Avenue and Superior Street.  Along with Christmas lights (of course) there is a towering evergreen tree that serves as the centerpiece.

Officials with Minnesota Power are on the search for a tree for this year.  They've taken to social media to scour the Northland for volunteers.  According to the collateral they've released, they're looking for a tree that's at least 40-feet tall, within ten miles of the downtown area, with easy road-access to harvest it.  The tree in question can be either a pine or a spruce.

If you have a tree you'd like to offer, follow this link to their website.
