As August slips away, officials are running out of time to complete road construction projects that are on the docket for the summer of 2014.  As in years past, Minnesota Department of Transportation officials are utilizing night crews to help projects finish on schedule.

While most of these night crews will be employed in the Twin Cities metro, it's important to remember that caution should be exercised in a work zone 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

In addition to time constraints, MNDOT also utilized night crews to allow them better access to some roadways, ramps, and bridges that might otherwise cause excessive disruption during the day.
