Mall Of America To Close For Thanksgiving Again This Year

The Mall Of America gambled last year and decided to close for Thanksgiving. It made a statement to the other stores that keep opening earlier and earlier on Thanksgiving. The nation's biggest mall said it is going to do it again this year.

According to startribune.com, about 15,000 employees will  have the day off and then open for Black Friday. The Bloomington megamall is offering holiday pay on Black Friday to the 1,200 workers it directly employs. The article goes on to say the two malls are hoping to keep good employees by offering incentives to keep employees happy with their jobs.

While other stores have announced they will open even earlier on Thanksgiving.
