Diane Lynch and Dick Osgood will be at Lunch With The History People this week discussing their book called Minnesota Winery Stories. They will be in the Depot with copies of their book and stories about what Minnesota wine is made of and other surprising things.

Diane works as an environments manager, and Dick Osgood is an ecologist and Lake Management consultant. These colleagues joined together to write a book about wine in Minnesota. I wold imagine, no matter what your backround is, the research has to be fun.

They will have copies of their book and talk about some surprising things about Minnesota wine, like not all of it is made out of grapes. Find out how and why the wineries began in Minnesota and the growth of this industry over the years.

The event will be held in the Underground on the first floor of the Depot. There will be limited theater-style seating (no tables), and feel free to bring your own bag lunch.  Seating is first-come, first-served (no reservations).  Admittance to this event is free to the public.  ARCO coffee is provided.
