London Road/Highway 61 Drainage Project To Affect Traffic Starting July 7

A project necessary to improve the drainage situation on London Road kicks off on Monday, July 7.

Motorists will encounter single lane traffic on Highway 61/London Road between 32nd Avenue East and 40th Avenue East beginning Monday, July 7 when a drainage improvement project begins. The traffic restriction will remain in place until August 8.

A 12-foot width restriction will also be in place between July 7 and August 8.

This project is expected to cause traffic delays.

This project includes repairs to historic bluestone arches, tree removal and repair to storm sewers damaged during the 2012 flood.
