This was the scene on London Road at 26th Avenue East this morning in Duluth. A logging truck turning off Interstate 35 onto London Road lost much of its load of logs around 9:00 am Tuesday (December 18), leading to some minor damage and a mess of logs hampering traffic.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol nobody was hurt in the incident, but one vehicle was reportedly had minor damage. Along with the vehicle damage, two sign poles are reported as damaged. By 10:30 am, crew members from the City of Duluth's Public Works Department and Police Department had the roadway cleared and the truck off the roadway. At the time of publishing this story, a few logs remain in the median, and will be removed by crews today.
