Lisa Marie Sings A Duet With Her Father, See The Debut Thursday On CMT
Lisa Marie Presley has a career of her own and was reluctant for the longest time to chase the same thing her father was crowned "The King" for. Now, she was reluctant to sing with her father, but was convinced by her producer T. Bone Burnett.
It was recorded live and only meant for the 25,000 viewers that were at the show that honored Elvis. So many people started talking about it, that now it will become a video and CMT will show it Thursday.
The video features family photos of Presley's 4-year-old twin girls, Finley and Harper, as well as her son, Benjamin, and daughter, Riley, along with Lisa Marie and Elvis.
"We were really moved when we saw this video," said CMT's senior vice president of music strategy, Leslie Fram.
"Lisa Marie and her team were thrilled and so gracious to allow this to be shared," Fram added.
The single will be available for purchase digitally on Tuesday, and the full video on iTunes on October 25.
