Duluth will be sporting a better place for kids to play - thanks to grant money from the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee Legacy Fund!  Representatives from the organization handed over the check during a reception yesterday (June 27) in Duluth.

The $50,000 award will go towards making improvements at the park located at 25th Avenue West and 5th Street.

The fund was established to provide 52 grants to 52 communities during the 52 weeks leading up to Super Bowl LII - which will be held in Minnesota.  The program is funded via the philanthropic community in the state - both individuals and corporations.  The initiative is to make sure that the single event of a Super Bowl will transform into a lifetime of good for the future.
