Level III Sex Offender To Be Released In Superior; William Ramirez Has Been Incarcerated Since 1988

The Douglas County Sex Offender Notification Committee has determined that a Level III Notification will be conducted regarding the upcoming release of William Ramirez to the community of Superior. Mr. Ramirez has been incarcerated since 1988, following his conviction of First-Degree Sexual Assault.

Ramirez' release date is May 6, 2014. Prior to that a community meeting will be held on May 1, 2014 at 6PM in the Government Building, Room 270 - at 1416 N 14th Street in Superior.

The assault in 1988 involved a repeated sexual assault against a female unknown to him. The assault involved the victim being threatened with a knife and occurred over a period of 2 1/2 hours. Ramirez did not act alone; He and the co-defendant were arrested and convicted.

Upon his release, William Ramirez will reside at 1620 N 16th Street in Superior.
