It's that time of year again;  Time to select the "top"-something or another of the past 12 months.  New today is the news of what Dictionary.com has selected as their Word Of The Year for 2011:  tergiversate.

So what does it mean?

Tergiversate means "to change repeatedly one's attitude or opinions with respect to a cause, subject, etc."

Are they trying to imply something about the people and issues that dominated 2011?
