Lake Nebagamon Gears Up for the July 4th Weekend

Everyone in Lake Nebagamon is getting set for the busiest weekend of the year. Plenty to do and see for the whole family starting Friday the 4th. Parade, Fireworks, plenty of great food, and of course the lake itself!

Friday, July 4th 1-3 p.m. it's Old Fashioned Kids Games. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun on the beachfront. There are games for all ages, and prizes for everyone who participates.

Parade 4 p.m. Once again the Lake Nebagamon Fire department  hosts the parade. For a small community, it's great, and lots of fun to see. Several local business's and organizations participate, and yes, there's plenty of candy for the kids.

Boat Parade 7 p.m. All boat owners join the lineup at Honeymoon Point, and cruise the lake, winding up at the Public Beach. It's really nice to see all the boats, and don't forget to bring the camera!

Fireworks The show starts at dusk, and they really put on a great fireworks display. The Lake Nebagamon Lions Club sponsors the event, and a great place to watch is at the beachfront/auditorium...bring your boat and watch from the lake as well.

July 5th 7:45 a.m. it's the Kids Dragin Tail Run, followed by the adult  Dragin Tail Run at 9a.m. This is a 5 mile walk/run and you can register at the auditorium the day of from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. Cost is $25.00 with all proceeds going to the Lake Nebagamon Fire Department.
