KOOL Staff Reveals Wishes for the New Year
As one year ends and another begins, the promise of the future leads us to think of what can be. Many of us set resolutions for the new year, others simply have excitement and hopes for what the the future will bring. As we step into 2012, the KOOL staff shares their hopes, goals, excitement, and resolutions for the new year!
I know when you listen you picture us with the perfect hair (thank you for that!) and the perfect body. Truth be told I want a better body and want to be healthier. I want to make a decision before my doctor forces me to. I would obviously like to lose a few pounds.
I also want to write and perform music more. I love to play and with my youngest son Sam playing some music and JJ my other son starting to listen to more music, I want to become relevant again.
This year I want to become closer to my goal of doing cartoon voice over work. I love watching them, I love creating characters and doing voices. I want to do something with that this year.
Call me a “square”, but I’ve never made a New Year’s Resolution before. I guess I’ve never wanted to change anything - but, there’s a first time for everything!
In the coming New Year, I resolve to paint a couple of rooms in my home....build more shelving for my music collection...and catch-up on reading the periodicals I subscribe to.
My hope for you in 2012 is that you have continued good health...wealth...and happiness
My New Year Resolution has never changed since I started in radio many years ago, and this year is no different. My goal is to make you happy through the music I play for you every afternoon on KOOL. The right music can change one’s frame of mind in an instant - from negative to positive, gloomy to sunny, and even “I can’t” to “I will.” Sitting in my studio, I have visions of people drumming their fingers to the beat of a song, tapping on the steering wheel of their car, and yes, even singing along. If a song brings a smile to your face, then I’ve succeeded.
Happy 2012 to all of our listeners and readers from the staff of KOOL!
