Kettle River Bridge Closes For Repairs

Summer maintenance on the Kettle River Bridge has closed the Highway 23 roadway until the middle of August.  Crews with the Minnesota Department of Transportation are replacing the railings and resurfacing the roadway on the bridge that crosses the Kettle River.

While the road is closed, MNDOT is recommending a detour route that follows County Road 123.

Work on the project is expected to be finished by August 19.
