Katie McMahon is celebrating Christmas by bringing her fan-favorite show back to Mitchell Auditorium 7:30 pm December 7th.

According to her website katiemcmahon.com, Katie McMahon was born and bred a Dubliner, was classically trained in voice and harp and studied Italian and Drama Studies at Trinity College. During a break from her studies, Katie joined the vocal group Anuna and is a featured soloist on their first two CDs.

She met an American while on tour. The story is he was the water boy and part of the crew in Minnesota and all the girls thought he was cute. She and he hit it off and the rest is history. She moved to Minnesota and raises her family there.

She is from Ireland and shares her heritage with her fans. She has had quite the career. Singing for over 20 years professionally, she is best known for singing soprano in the original Riverdance. Now She is bringing her celebration of the Winter Solstice to Duluth.

This Friday she will be at the College of Saint Scholastica for a "Celtic Christmas" in Mitchell Auditorium. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. For tickets go to click here or call 218-723-7000.
