James Bond Submarine Car For Sale
Have some extra spare cash laying around? It could net you the one-of-a-kind 1977 Lotus submarine car that was featured in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me!
The car (?) itself has an interesting history. Built from scratch for around $100,000 for the film, the vehicle was shipped off to a storage facility in Long Island after the movie wrapped. There it sat - largely forgotten - until 1989, when an overdue bill for the storage warehouse brought the building to auction; The winning bidders had no idea when they placed a blind bid on it that the building contained this car. After showing the car a few times in museums, the car again dropped off the radar.
