Daniel Craig is making one more James Bond movie before hanging up his, uh, martini glass or whatever. The 25th James Bond adventure goes into production in a few short months, and is due in theaters in February of 2020. After that, nothing is certain, although producers will probably be in the market for their next man to wear the, uh, shoes with a knife hidden in the heel or something.

One of the most persistent rumors — or maybe persistent fantasies that people want to will into reality — in the 007verse is that Idris Elba will replace Craig in the role. Will it happen? Who knows. But Elba had a little fun with the fan casting at last night’s Golden Globes, when he found himself none other than James Bond himself, Daniel Craig. Here’s what happened next:

Is it too late to cast Elba as the bad guy in Bond 25? Maybe he could play a guy who’s jealous of Bond because he wants to be Bond and they spend the whole movie staring awkwardly at one another. Plus there’s gadgets and Ben Whishaw. I would watch that.

Bond 25, directed by True Detective’s Cary Joji Fukunaga, is currently scheduled to open in theaters on February 14, 2020.
