Drivers traveling north and south on I-35, just south of Boundary Avenue in Duluth will be restricted to a single lane beginning Monday, April 29th.  Crews will be busy constructing a media crossover - weather permitting.  Motorists will be restricted to a single lane for about a mile.

The crossover construction is expected to take aproximately two weeks.  As soon as it is completed, all I-35 traffic will be moved to the southbound lanes.

Crews will also be patching pavement in the southbound lanes to prepare for the upcoming traffic switch.

2013 marks the second year of construction on this $30.1 million dollar project.  The project is scheduled for completion in October 2013.  Major benefits of the project include new concrete, new paved shoulders and guardrail, improved drainage and bridges, and overall improved safety.
