I-35 Ramps Closed Due To Flooding

Officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation have closed some I-35 ramps in the downtown area due to flooding and standing water.  Specifically, the southbound I-35 exit ramps at Lake Avenue and at 5th Avenue West have been shut down.  Drivers should anticipate having to take alternate routes.

Today's unseasonable temperatures - along with the rain - have caused culverts and drains in the area to be plugged.  Crews are working to rectify the situation and expect to have the ramps open as soon as possible.
