Sidewalk days starts tomorrow and many people want to know how to get around or where are the best places to park since some downtown Duluth blocks will not have parking spots.

According to the Duluth Police press release, here are the Traffic changes

Drivers should be aware of traffic changes in downtown Duluth to accommodate the festival.

Superior Street will be closed to all traffic between Lake Avenue and Fifth Avenue West from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Avenues will remain open to traffic with the following exceptions:

• On Wednesday, the Superior Street closure will expand from Fifth Avenue West to Third Avenue East from 3:30-9 p.m. for the car show. All avenues in the area will be closed to traffic at Superior Street except for Third Avenue East, Lake Avenue and Fifth Avenue West.

• On Friday, First Street will be closed to traffic between First and Fourth avenues West from 6 p.m. to midnight for the street dance.

• On Saturday, Superior Street will be closed to traffic between First and Second avenues West from 4 p.m. to midnight for the street dance.

Drivers should be on the lookout for officers directing traffic, pedestrians, posted detours and no-parking signs.

Duluth Transit Authority buses will use Michigan and First streets for detours during the Sidewalk Days street closures. The Downtown Transit Center and Holiday Center bus stops will not be in service; DTA riders are advised to transfer at the Duluth Public Library or Radisson Hotel stops to make connections to other buses.
