How Do You Identify Ash Trees? A Primer Designed To Help The Homeowner Battle The Emerald Ash Borer

The Emerald Ash Borer has been identified in the City of Superior.  Officials are planning targeted treatments to battle the destructive bug, but part of the process is determine whether or not your tree in your yard is an Ash tree.  Here's a primer.

The link below will run you through a identification key that was designed by the Michigan State University;  Michigan is a state that has battled the Emerald Ash Borer as well.  This key will scientifically allow you to correctly identify your tree.
