With influenza season here, it's important to know whether or not you've actually come down with the flu - or - if you're "just sick" with something else.

Here are the common signs of influenza.

  • High fever
  • Severe body aches
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Sore Throat
  • Cough
  • Runny or stuffed nose
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Having one or two of these symptoms at any given time does not necessarily mean that you have influenza.  However, with each additional symptom - your chances of having a case of the flu increase.

As always, it's best to consult your doctor.
