There is a solution to everything you think is wrong in our community: Get involved and do something about it!  Right now the City of Duluth is looking for community volunteers to fill vacancies on a variety of Public Board and Commissions.

Duluth has more then 30 boards and commissions that provide valuable input to city leaders on topics that include parks, disabilities, alcohol licensing, planning and zoning, utilities, and more.

To be considered to serve on any of the boards or commissions, an application needs to be filled out and submitted to the City Clerk's office. Applications are kept on file for two years. For many boards and commission, Duluth residency is a requirement and some have specific skills or areas of expertise listed. Applications are available on the city’s website, or by calling the City Clerk’s office at 218-730-5500.

To view the entire list of boards and commissions, their roles, meeting schedules and to check for current openings, please check the city’s website by clicking here.
