Highway 61 Repairs Bring Single Lanes Near The Lester River In Duluth

Here's a road project that you'll need to be aware of if your route includes Highway 61 near the Lester River on the eastern edge of Duluth;  Workers will be doing culvert, curb and gutter, and guardrail work on the stretch now through August 15.

Single lane traffic will allow the workers to perform their tasks and motorists to get through.

Paving will take place from Tuesday, August 11 to Thursday, August 13;  oversized loads will be restricted from the construction area during this timeframe.
