Highway 61 Detour Near Little Marais Starts August 11

Motorists will encounter a detour on Highway 61 near Little Marais beginning Monday, August 11. The detour will affect both directions of traffic and will be in place for approximately 18 days.

The northbound detour will be from Illgen City up Highway 1 to Lake County Road 6 and back over to Highway 61 in Little Marais.

The southbound detour is from Little Marais up County Road 6 to Highway 1 and back down to Highway 61 at Illigen City.

The detour length is approximately 13 miles. It will add approximately seven miles to a trip.
