As the summer road construction season rolls along, you can add one more project to the list;  a bridge replacement project started this morning on Highway 61 near Grand Marais.

Over the course of the summer, crews from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will work to replace the span that crosses the Devil Track River four miles northeast of Grand Marais.  Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in one direction at a time - controlled by a signal or a flagger.  Motorists are cautioned to expect delays.

The bridge should be in place and work completed by October 28.
