Add this to the growing list of road construction projects throughout the Northland this summer:  The Highway 210 road project between Carlton and Thomson is set to get underway on Wednesday, June 6th.

Drivers need to know that they will be detoured off the roadway as crews work on the bridge that crosses the Saint Louis River.

Travelers going Eastbound on Highway 210 should go north on Highway 45, east on Carlton County Road 61, south on Carlton County Road 1, and then divert back to Highway 210.

Those going Westbound will make a right-hand turn on Carlton County Road 1, driving north on Carlton County Road 1, head west on County Road 61,  south on Highway 45, and then finally back to Highway 210.

Specific project details are available online at www.mndot.gov/d1/projects/Hwy210bridge
