The weather's getting nice so that naturally means road construction season in the Northland.

Motorists traveling on Hwy 210 in Thomson will be restricted to a single lane at the Thomson Bridge beginning Monday, May 13, while remaining work is completed on the project, which began last year. A temporary signal system will be in place to direct motorists to take turns crossing the bridge. The single-lane traffic configuration will remain in place until the project is finished in June 14.

The finishing work includes concrete surface finishing, placement of an epoxy chip seal on the bridge deck and painting.
